So I bought a PRODUCT (RED) Apple Watch Series 6 last year when it came out, I've noticed when I haven't been wearing it/turned on, and I decide to turn it on, my battery is less than 100%, I always charge to 100%, so I'm confused, could it be a faulty battery? Or software, if that's possible.

Thanks for any help.

Batteries discharge whether you use them or not.

The real question is how fast. Is it 100% to 1% in 10 seconds? Or 100% to 99% in four weeks? Or somewhere in the middle? That’s how you know whether it’s a serious issue or not.

After you provide more information that @Howard2k asked you should make a note and not charge your watch to 100% and then store it for an extended period of time.

Simply charge it to about 80% and then power it off. This will keep your battery in better condition that charging to 100% and then power off your watch for storage.
