Great tip for the OP.
If your Apple Watch battery seems dead or you haven’t worn it for a while, I highly recommend charging it and giving it a hard restart. Just let it charge for a bit, my friend.
Here’s what you can check: look for a screen that shows a charger and the time, along with a lightning bolt ⚡️.
If you had other Apple Watch charging cables from your old watches or bought any before, try using those instead. Make sure they’re clean and free from dust and debris. Also, remove any protective films and align your Apple Watch with the cable. Some docks designed for Nightstand Mode might not fit the big Apple Watch S10 46s and the Apple Watch Ultra well, so it’s a good idea to test different cables.

Now, I’d like to ask you a few questions:
- Has your Apple Watch been damaged by water or dropped hard?
- Has it been exposed to extremely hot or cold temperatures, except when you’re sweating a lot during exercise?
- Has your battery ever been replaced since you got the watch? If so, what was its battery health before that, and has it unexpectedly shut down or restarted besides for updates or when the battery is really low?
- Do you notice any screen separation or the battery looking bloated in any way?
If none of these tips work, and you answered yes to any of the questions above, it’s best to book a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store. They can take a look and fix it for you.
