iPod touch My apps are not syncing

My computer recently crashed, so I bought a new one. Downloaded itunes on it etc, etc. So then I went to use Echofon and it wasn't working. But I was connecting to the internet in safari just fine, so its not the connection. So then I deleted echofon, re downloaded it and now its not syncing. I've download a couple of other twitter apps and they are not syncing either.

so my first question is: why was echofon not working even tho my internet connection was fine?

my 2nd question is: why are my apps not syncing and how do I get them to sync?

can anybody help me please? i'm starting to get very agitated. i have no idea why they are not syncing.

lol not one response.smh. well I restored my ipod which deleted ALL my apps and they are still not syncing.
