No luck at the two AT&T stores I visited. They claim no now in the north east received any. None at Nest Buy or Walmart either. Target's website said they had none, but I didn't check in person.
Hopefully I can get a Plus 128 or 256.

Have you been following the recent updates? Apple announced no stores would have any Plus models in stock.

No I've been busy and its hard to catch all the updates. I just assumed Apple stores would have them and there's one about 15 min away from me. Oh well guess I'll order one online unless they magically get some next week.
My closest Apple store is in an outdoor mall that also has a corporate AT&T store. There were about 5 people sitting outside the AT&T store at 7am when I rolled in, and about 30 or so outside the Apple store.
I wouldn't say most people, lots of us (including myself) have a delivery date of October 4th-10th for the matte black 7+.
I said most people for the 7 not the 7+... for 7+ I said most people got scared off from Apple's statement about launch day walk-ins
Just ordered one online as nobody around here has any plus models. BestBuy and Apple had them but only for people who pre ordered and chose in store pickup. So as of now I should have my new phone by October 11th
