My Avatar isn't showing up

Recently I got the magic number 500 of posts, and was able to upload an Avatar..

However, when I look back at my posts all I see is a little blue "?" in a box where the avatar should be. Is it just my computer or is it not showing up for you too?

And if so, any ideas on how I can fix it?

(The Avatar was uploaded from my computer btw).

Perhaps if you choose Sportacus you wouldn't have this problem

It shows fine in your Profile page but as a blue ? on the forum pages for me, so you are not seeing things. I guess it something that will resolve itself in time as the servers take a little while to catch up, either that or someone more knowledge than me will fix the problem.

Yes, the version that shows up next to posts is hosted in a different place from the one that shows up in your profile, and the two servers only sync every few hours. The fact that there's a question mark there means you're halfway there...the forums know there's supposed to be an avatar there, but the servers haven't synced yet to put a copy in the correct place.

Hang in there and it should show up soon.
