This was my first Mac, a 5200. I bought it for $1200 from a Walmart. It was on sale. It was recalled the next day. I soon read how it was so poorly made, that Low End Mac deemed it a "Road Apple". Not long after that I put in a board from a 5400, maxed out the RAM at 32 Megs, and reinstalled the TV card that was in it before the upgrade. The last thing I did was paint it black. Parts I could take off, like the speaker grills, and CD tray front, I painted bronze. By this time though, I had a 8500/150.
