iPhone 12 my bank's app can turn on rear LED light at less than 1/2 brightness... how do I do it myself?

I never knew that it was possible, but my bank's app can turn the rear LED light on at less than 1/2 brightness and at somewhat yellow tone(like a regular household lightbulb) It makes it a lot easier to take pictures of checks. (full brightness would make the check too bright and hard to capture)

How can I do this myself on the iPhone's stock flashlight on/off switch?
