So this morning I ran my new iPad down to completely dead on the way to work. I plugged it in when I got here at 7 am. This is my first charge since getting it on Friday. After being on the charger for an hour and 15 minutes, it's already 30% charged. So that will make it about a 3 1/2 hour window of time until it's fully charged. I will probably let it trickle charge for awhile after that.

That seems faster than people are reporting--I'm just wondering if anyone is seeing the same thing.

What I am seeing is that my iPad 3 DOES take a little longer to charge when I am not using it. But as long as it completes the charging while I sleep, I have no problem.

I did notice that charging is very slow while you are using your device but I do that very seldom if ever.

I refuse to be panicked with the rest of the herd of sheep!:p
