This is outrageous. I've only had an hour usage with the phone and only 4 1/2 hours standby and this is what I'm left with? Should I return it or get an exchange?

Oh noes, you might just make it until half way into tomorrow at that rate... definitely get an exchange or three. :D

I don't think you get it, but that probably happens a lot in your life. This is not the time you have left, but the time you've already used it.

You're kidding me right? I take it you've never owned an iphone before. My iphone 4s takes abut 30 minutes (maybe even less) of solid use to reduce from 100% to 94%. Consider yourself lucky.

I'm at 92% now with my AT&T iphone 5 and have 1 hr usage and 2hrs45min standby. I guess I should be outraged like the OP is.

You should get an Android phone then see how that goes LOL. Mine drops pretty fast for the first few hours then it really hangs in there. I typically go to bed with probably 40% battery. 40% percent of a big battery is more than you think.

Not outraged here...

I usually average one hour of usage per 10% of battery life depending on what I do on the phone and how long it has remained in stand by. Lines up with the type of battery life I got on the 4S.
