My Best Buy Members With Apple Watches Purchased Before September 15 Eligible for Extra Free Month of Fitness+

Best Buy has teamed up with Apple for several Fitness+ trial exclusives, which offer extended access to Apple Watch owners who are also Best Buy customers.

Customers who purchased an Apple Watch Series 3, Series 6, or SE from Best Buy after on or after September 15, 2020, are eligible for a total of six months of Fitness+ access for free. Best Buy is offering an additional three month trial that combines with Apple's three month trial.

My Best Buy customers who already owned a qualifying Apple Watch before September 15, 2020 that was purchased from Best Buy can get one additional free month of Fitness+ on top of the one month trial offered by Apple for a total of two months free.

Eligible Best Buy customers are receiving an email through their Best Buy accounts that can be used to redeem the free Fitness+ trial, with more information available on Best Buy's site.

Note that some users have been having issues getting Apple Fitness+ to recognize their free three month trial. There is no solution beyond contacting Apple Support at this time, so those affected should get in touch with Apple for help.

I haven’t received my code yet. Apple support told me I could start the 3 month through them and it would be extended when I receive the code through Best Buy.

Neither have I, though my Best Buy account says it’s been emailed.

Wow, they're giving so much free access these days. It'll be difficult to get people accustomed to paying for something they are accustomed to having for free.

Yes, because Apple has conditioned us to expect free stuff from them all the time 😂 /s

The 3 & 6 month trials are generous incentives, but the only reason people are getting them is because they bought new watches this fall $$$

If the service is being used regularly I will stay subscribed, just like I did when my Music trial expired years ago.

Still no 6 month code for purchase of new Apple Watch. Chatted and called Best Buy and they think they send you an email with the code, but it’s just an email saying you’ll get another email with the code.

Same thing here. Tried reaching out to Best Buy about this and they handed me off to two other people and then a dead end line that hung up on me.
 
I just got my 6 month code. You have to do Apple’s three months and then enter the Best Buy code for an additional three months. I hope everyone gets their emails soon!

Good to hear! So I guess support was right and those of us still waiting for the BB code can go ahead and sign up for the 3 month trial? I didn’t do it when I read “not combinable with any other offers” at the bottom of the BestBuy page regarding the promo.

I got my code from Best Buy, and now all done I have 7 months free! It expires in July now for me.

1. Apple 3 Free Month Trial (you do this first per the Best Buy instructions too)
2. Redeem Best Buy's 3 Month Code from buying an Apple Watch via them.
3. Redeem the 2nd code I got from buying the promotional item linked from @MorganB below. It says 2 months but added me one more month, so now I expire in July vs June.

Correct, the instructions from Best Buy says to do this first.

I was skeptical when reading the fine print too. However, Best Buy just have you redeem it using the same procedure as redeeming a gift card.

Still waiting for my code. I bought a watch at my local best buy last Wednesday. The receipt mentions it. Hope that email comes soon! I only see the 2-month offer in my Elite Plus login section and don't want to touch that until that 6-month shows.
