My brand new AirPods Pro 2 is peeling off on the corner!!!

The plastic casing or shell on the stem of my AirPods Pro (2nd generation) is coming loose or peeling off. It seems to be separating near the bottom where the metallic contacts are. Is there a problem and should I be worried?

I am not aware of any problem and I own 2 pairs.

Strange, thought this would be solid plastic with no such a layer that would be able to peel. Or maybe it's some residue or excess glue that sticks out but doesn't look like it from the pictures.

Not sure if it's a problem, you must decide if it's enough of an eyesore to you that you want to make the trip to the store.

manufacturing defect - exchange them, sooner rather than later.
