My baby has arrived earlier today!! I picked up and right now I am playing with it!
It's cool, I am so excited!

I am trying to adjust with Mac. It's my first Mac ever!!
It's hot, literally! Is 52 Celsius HOT?
I prayed last night to get a healthy intact MBP and my prayers have been answered!

So time for some unboxing pics!! I know sounds silly but I couldn't resist!

BUT! I couldn't upload the photos! bc I didn't find em!
Any help would be appreciated, I know the photos are in library/iphotos

BTW! My baby is the baseline model with 200 GB 7200rpm and glossy!

Hi,

Welcome to Mac. The temp is normal. These guys run hot due to the thin size and the aluminum case. That is how they dissipate the heat. A MBP is not a laptop computer officially. They call it a notebook as it can get uncomfortable when on the lap for extended periods of time.

Yeah.

25 is great! I'm running at about 46 right now. I do have quite a few processes open. Fans have been running at 1996-2000 rpm pretty much all day.
