So a friend I work with has been having trouble with his logic board.
The USB wouldn't connect and he had the middle 15" from last year.
Any ways...he had Apple Care and after the first "fix" it still didn't work correctly. I told him bring it back...they "fixed" it again and it acted up a few days later.
So at this point I tell him, bring it back, "fix" it again...hopefully it won't work and you can get a new one.
He brings it back and they fix it...or so it seems that way. He goes to hook up his external monitor and BOOM! With the slightest touch it gets disconnected.
He brings it back and they replace his mid 2010 15" with a brand new high end 15" 2011 Mbp.
So remember...if it ain't perfect after a fix...keep bringing it back until it works like new...or you get a new one.
