my caffeine coffee cup disappears :(

I love my caffeine app but sometimes the coffee cup disappears from the menu bare at the top of the screen and then I don't know how to 'fill' the coffee cup. Does anyone know where the coffee cup goes? It seems to magically reappear when it feels like it.

Depends what programme is running

Yes, it doesn't seem to be there when you have some apps live, such as Mail and Safari. For me, I click on Finder and it reappears.

Might be when the menus for the active app (File, Edit etc.) encroach on the space for menu items on the right. The app menus take priority

As already stated, the Menu Bar contents change, depending on which app window is active. To quickly find the Caffeine icon, just click on your Desktop.
