My cloud uploads don't count toward free space?

I've uploaded over 2 GB to my icloud from my iPhone 5S - iPhone still shows me as having a completely free icloud account, since I have photo sharing off.

How do I find my source to where these files are being stored? I didn't think I would need help with this, but I want to know which account this is storing it to?

Any ideas here? I'm stumped.

Edit: if you are taking about photos. Photo stream don't count toward your storage.
