we are both using the same itunes account which i think that might be the problem but i dont know

anyone know a fix it this?

uh yah that's a problem. Your syncing the contacts on your computer so it's going to overwrite with the last person who synced

well i think both were on it but now we need to figure something out...maybe we should both use different computers to sync will that fix it?

or should i just backup everytime but thats going to take a while

On the iPhone's section of iTunes, there is an information tab. In there is where you can set which contacts to sync. Use that to set which ones you want.

In iTunes I'm pretty sure you can switch which contacts you want to sync, so you'd just have to remember to switch everytime you do a sync..

Edit: See TEG's post above ^^ that should work..

one problem my contacts arent shown... im not using mobile me

create two separate user accounts on your mac/pc, that way you can have two different address books

or create groups in address book, and only sync certain groups

The latter would be the most convenient if you are using one user account. Then again, if none of your contacts are on the computer, then I suspect that you are just trying to sync while your sister is logged in. Log in as yourself and sync again.
