Wow, that was really cool! I actually hadn't seen a "custom" bokeh effect like this before (or at least had never noticed it anywhere else before, which is surprising.) Nicely done!

I particularly like the water bit. And how throwing the fairy lights out of focus brought the face into focus.

The DigitalRev guys did a video about this; Guide on how to make funny "Bokeh Shapes". The UFOs at the end are great!

Thanks for the feedback guys. It means a lot especially coming from some of the more renowned members!

The only bad thing about this video is that it was for a cinematography assignment at university and whilst I got full marks I have now set the standard high for my next projects!
