My dad switched us from Sprint to Verizon. Question.

So my dad is fed up with Sprint and Blackberry phones so he switched us to Verizon and now he has an iPhone 4s and I just have to switch my old Sprint 4s with a Verizon unit. My question, can I just plug my new phone into iTunes and have it put the library on the Verizon unit or am I screwed?

Plug it into your computer and restore from a backup. That's all you need to do.
