After about half an hour of inactivity on my Mac pro, the discs start an endless cycle of shutting down and then immediately spinning up again. To stop it I have to press a few keys and then it stops for about half an hour or so and then starts again.

This clearly isn't a major problem but it is annoying. It's happening on a RAID 0 set of 2 disks (the boot drive is an SSD). I've replaced both the disks twice (not because of this) and upgraded the operating system at least once but neither have made any difference, so it must be something normal but I can'f find anything online about it.

Anyone no what I'm talking about!!
