My download speed is oscillating from 0 to max kB/sec. Anyone know how to fix it?

Hi All,

I have been having a problem with my WiFi. My MBP is late 2007 model. See the screenshot attached to see what I meant by Oscillating Download Speed

I have deleted the preferences file from /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration. Then reset PRAM, Onyx, deleted cache files, fixing permission, etc, still no luck

May I know how to fix it once and for all?

FYI, if I boot my Mac using a freshly installed Mac OS X SL (from external HD), the download speed is no longer like this and it's stable.
