I recently got a Macbook Pro 15" Core2 Duo.

I installed Boot Camp 1.1.2 and then installed Windows XP Pro SP2.

Then i installed the drivers Cd made by Boot Camp. Everything was fine until i started installing software for Win XP. It's like the DVD drive stops and installations freeze up. If i wait for it then after many minutes an error comes up like the disc can't be recognized or something. "Setup cannod load or detect some required files. Check your network connection or replace the disc in the DVD drive and run setup again."

When i try installing software from a USB disk it works fine. My discs run fine on my PC so i guess it's not the disc itself.

There are two items with exclamation marks in my hardware properties Human interface device and PCI. My CD/DVD drive is recognized as Matshita DVD-R UJ 857D.

Please help... Thanks in advance.
