I love it hahahha.

I'm using it with a late 2013 mbpr and 2 other '1080' resolution monitors, a USB displaylink adapter. Got the 4k monitor from bestbuy for $600 Canadian. It is running in 1080 resolution with "retina" text.

Also, Apple needs to step up their game so this is all plug and play.

You got a 4k display to run on your rMBP? Are you able to run it at full 4k resolution? (Most Apple laptops top out at 2560x1600 resolution)

Which adapter did you buy and how much was it? Is the adapter powerful enough to play 4k video?

The 4k monitor is connected by hdmi and can get 4k resolution (30hz) but have it now set at 1080 res, 30hz with HiDPI mode on for nice fonts. I have another normal HD monitor connected by mini dp->hdmi (1080 res, 60hz). If I try 2, it doesn't work. So I have my 3rd connected by a usb adapter->hdmi (1080 res, 60hz)
