Hi guys,
I own a 2017 iMac Pro. I have connected an eGPU equipped with a powerful graphic card (AMD 9100 Pro) and 2 monitors attached to it.
Recently, the external monitors randomly switched off...as a consequence, some programs I am running switched off too (this happened while broadcasting live 2 times).
I thought the eGPU could be faulty, so I plugged both monitors directly into the iMac...and the issue continues. It seems (not entirely sure) that this happens when I am demanding stuff to the computer after a while (high temperature related?). My room is not especially hot though and everything has good ventilation. Main Mac never switches off, it is only the external monitor.
My equipment and iOS.
iMac Pro (2017)
10-Core Intel Xeon W
64 GB RAM
Catalina 10.15.7
I have attached the crash log.
Any idea about what to do?
Thanks a lot for your help
