My Facebook app does not automatically update when opened (iOS4 on 3GS)

I posted this in the app section, but it seems like this section gets more traffic.

I have the newest Facebook ver 3.1.4. I noticed yesteday that when I open the Facebook app, it doesnt auto update anymore. I uninstalled and reinstalled. The 1st opening of the new installed app updated automatically, but the 2nd opening and so on does not auto update. I went through the settings and do not see any setting for this.

Anyone know whats going on?

Same here, everything else loads but the home page doesnt.

I think now that it's background aware it hasn't been configured to update stuff when it returns to the foreground. I bet we see a fix in the next couple of weeks.
