Open up the video camera and switch flash to 'on' and voilà, flashlight app! Works great!!

I hope there's a jailbreak app that activate this so it burns less battery than having the light AND video can on.

Yeah I have a lame Flashlight app on my 3GS that whites out the screen. but using this new flash as a flashlight without having the video on would be great!
