My film got bought by MTV/Logo

Ok guys- anybody remember that series of short films I was in last fall? The horror films where I agonized over my performance? Well, one of the shorts was bought by MTV to show on Logo. They saw it at a festival in NYC and bought the thing! I'm really happy! Here's a link, but there's not much info yet. Scroll down to "Perfect Filtration". No cast list is posted yet either, you just have to take my word for it. BTW- I'm quite scary in this one. :) http://www.splitpillow.com/newsletter0606.html

P.S. I'll let you guys know when it airs as soon as I know. It should be sometime in the fall.

btw, everyone - I've seen Lee's bit and it is very entertaining :). You should all watch it! He's right, he is scary in it :D.

Ha! Thanks guys, It's kind of weird. This is my second film to air on TV. And I only do this as a hobby! I feel pretty lucky. It's lots of fun.
 
That is so awesome! Please dont forget to let us know when it airs, I'll definately check it out, even though I'm not much of a horror fan. Maybe you should consider a career change, since your pretty successful at this with it being "only" a hobby.

Eek, no. It would cease to be fun. If it were to become my job, I would start to hate it. Trust me, it's better this way. ;)

Wow, heavy promoting on your part. Let me guess ---- 10% for his manager? ;)
 
You guys, its not going to be on MTV. Logo is just owned by MTV Networks (well viacom even). So yeah, no need to worry if you hate MTV. Logo is actually an LGBT interest channel. They show quite a bit of short films actually. Just an FYI for those of you saying "Good thing you didnt make a music video as MTV wouldnt show it."

Yeah right :D. Lee often laughs of my lack of knowledge of the film industry. I'd be the worst manager in the world :). I just want to pinch his cheeks :p.
