My Firefox won't go anywhere!!??!

I have version 2.0.0.3.

For some reason it will work fine for a minute, then when you click on links or type in new addresses the browser won't do anything. No spinnin wheel, nothing. It'll act as if you did nothing. So, then I have to force quit. Bring it back up and give me this "restore session" option.

Anyone else dealing w/this mess?

If you create a new user account does it work normally from there?

i haven't tried and actually can't. if i have two accounts active and running, then the computer barely runs b/c i have never upgraded the memory

Well run one at a time. The new account will give you a fresh set of user preferences and settings, meaning if your problem is sourced from there we might be able to troubleshoot it better.

alternative to new account is a new profile for firefox.

well, I do not think the session is related here, and I have yet to find a problem that can not be solved with a new profile+new install.
