my firmware says 5a345 but i downloaded the upgrade straight from itunes

should i have 5a347? or is the version i have ok...and if not how do i get 5a347?

You have to perform a restore in iTunes, that will download 5A347 and install it on your iPhone. Simply clicking the "check for update" button does nothing because iTunes sees 5A345 as the current version for whatever reason. Just a warning, performing a restore (including doing a backup before and the restoration of the backup afterwards) can take 30 - 45 minutes.
