I know many people have listed their opinions, but here we go. My first thoughts on the 3.0 Beta, which I have been using for about 20 hours so far:

Safari and maps seem to be A LOT quicker in the new beta then they used to be, especially GPS locating. It only takes me about 5 seconds for the GPS to locate me, where it used to take about 20 or so. Autofill in Safari is also a nice addition as well as the saved passwords.

MMS does not work for me yet, which I'm assuming is something on AT&T's end. Copy and Paste works exceptionally well for me, although it is a bit tricky to get the hang of at first. The new spotlight feature is nice, but kind of slow. I'm sure it will be sped up enough in time for the final release, once the kinks are worked out. The new landscape option for Messaging, Mail, Notes, etc...is a VERY nice feature as well. I haven't messed with too much else, but I'll add more features I've experienced in this thread as time goes by.

Overall, my phone has been running surprisingly well for a Beta, although if you rely on your iPhone for day to day business matters I wouldn't recommend it yet. I hope this gives some insight into the Beta. Sorry, I know my points were kind of scattered about. Hope this helps!
