Hey my friends,

I was given a small batch of Macs a couple days ago to refurb and give away to education. They consist of two 21.5" 2011 iMacs, a 2010 Poly MacBook, and a 2009 & 2011 13" MacBook Pro all of them stock from Apple. I hadn't seen a poly MacBook in over ten years and was a little excited to jump on one with El Capitan and stock system specs as a small reminder of what it was like. Honestly not horrible at all as I type this on it. My first poly MacBook was a 2009 model and this one is a 2010. But even with such basic spec's I can see why it was good. Battery life is amazing. This one came from a dentist office with 97 battery cycles on it. It's been used a lot but the keyboard and trackpad are still amazing and I remember why I loved it so much back then. I know my Mac history is short compared to a lot of user's here but I have really enjoyed using this old girl and spending time on a Mac when Macs were just so dang good. Here's a screenshot of my post from 2010. It's amazing how much has changed in just ten years. And a couple system screenshots as well.
