iOS My First iPhone OS Application

I followed "Your First iPhone OS Application" on Apple Development Site, I only change target from "iPhone" to "iPad", anything else is the same as guide.

Now I got screen the color is only part of left top corner about 1/4 of iPad screen, what happened?

How can I let view to scale to fit size of iPad?

When you added the UIViewController did you choose the "Targeted for iPad" option?

No, I didn"t know that, just used default.
Now how can I modify it for iPad?

Since you're not too far into your project, I'd say start over.

P.S. That tutorial is geared towards creating an iPhone app. There may be other things you need to adjust in order to make it an iPad tutorial.

That white line looks about the size of a status bar.

Digging into why the sample app doesn't do what you expected is valuable as it will teach you things.

But don't get caught up on some issue and allow it to kill your desire to continue with the sample app. If you can't figure out where the white line comes from, move on to the next thing.
