I just got my first mac (Macbook Pro 2.5GHz) and I does not have numeral numbers on it or does it. My brother has a macbook and he has numeral numbers and my friend with a MacBook Pro does to. Please help.

The new MacBook Pros, like the new MacBooks and MacBook Airs, do not have a num lock numeric keypad (hence no num lock key).
bummer now im without it. I wonder why Apple removed the numeral keys. bad move on their part. Ill have to buy a external keyboard later on. Thanks for the help.

Only kidding. I don't mind too much as I could never get used to the "numpad" not being vertically straight.

What do you use for NW, NE, SE, SW? If you want to move at an angle, the arrow keys just don't cut it or those letters don't help.

you use the mouse for turning and w is forward, s is backward, d is right, and a is left

Not the games where you need 3 axis input plus rotation.
It's much better to have your MBP on an "Elevator" , with another ACD and an external Kb/mouse. Few reasons:
- The new Apple usb keyboard feels nice and has the keypad
- Better for heat dissipation
- Dual screens possibility
- If you spill your coffee you lose 40$ instead of 2500$+
- It makes women go crazy... or whatever

Some games play better with keys than a mouse - Some USERS play better with keys than a mouse - Especially with a laptop, since there are situations that come up where you cannot use a mouse and the pad is not ideal.
What kind of games do you play?
Have you never played Sports Games?
Have you never played Sim games?
Have you never played Racing Games, Flight sims, etc?
From your comments I have to say that you have very LIMITED gaming experience.
It doesnt sound like you haven't played very many games except for FPS and maybe a little WOW.
Some games play better with keys than a mouse - Some USERS play better with keys than a mouse - Especially with a laptop, since there are situations that come up where you cannot use a mouse and the pad is not ideal.
