iMac 1,7, Mojave 10.14.6. 2TB SSD, 24GB RAM, 1 Mercury Elite Pro TB2 RAID box w 2 Toshiba 6 TB HDs mirrored as one.

The issue I see is that the AMBER light on the front of the RAID continues to "slowly" blink.

According to the installation manual, I was to:
1. Connect through Thunderbolt connection on back of iMac.
2. Use two identical HD's inside, if I mirror one to the other.
3. Shut down the computer.
4. Change the RAID SET button on back to RAID 1 (the mirroring setting)
5. Power up the iMac.
6. Immediately hold the SET button in for 3 seconds.
7. The amber light should stop blinking slowly.

BUT IT DO NOT!

I was instructed by OWC to go ahead and initialize the RAID in Disk Utility Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
Only 1 RAID drive shows in the Finder afterwards.

But AMBER continues to constantly slowly blink. Is the amber light supposed to blink slowly? I thought that it is supposed to light up only when it is actively writing or communicating with the iMac?

Apparently there was no problem allowing the amber light to blink as long as needed. Today, the amber light is off and only activates when the RAID is used.
