My friend got an AT&T iPad2 and the screen isn't as bright

My friend just got his ipad2 AT&T and we were comparing to my Verizon version and found out that the AT&T one looked a lot dimmer and warmer in tone color. My Verizon one looks a lot brighter and sharper for some reason....

I don't think it's because yours is VZN and his is ATT.

Just a difference in screen quality. Get a replacement if you're not happy with it.

All these complaints of color temp and brightness would be killed if we could calibrate the iPads screen. I don't mean fiddling with the screen brightness in Settings. I mean screen calibration with a colorimeter.

Check your friend's brightness settings if you haven't, yet. Could you post a pic of side-by-side comparison at equal settings? (ie, highest brightness, Google page). He could probably request an exchange with veritable cause.

I have an iPhone 4 on AT&T and I have friends with a Verizon iPhone and I would never give mine up (I'll take faster data over reliable phone calls any day of the week).
