Good news, though. I was thinking of getting a USB 2.0 card and/or a SATA card over the next 6 months, but the sleep issue was a big deal for me.

Well, my FW card is a Belkin, which would make me stick with Belkin. I was actually going to buy one at Best Buy this weekend, but they don't stock them any longer (the Belkins).
Getting old scanning on my iBook and then transfering images over to the PM.
