I've a ghost in the machine, i was wondering if this is a problem solely with my 5 month old G5 1.6 with 512 mb and Tiger (had Jaguar before and same problem happened once)
This problem has occurred TWICE now, all of a sudden the fans on my mac will blast out - all whir at once and it sounds like its going to take off, blow up - or both! and will not stop! I have to pull the power socket out or press and hold power button to reset!
is this 'normal'? what could it be??
please help!
