My GF saw a "gloss" white iphone yesterday

My GF went to a presnetation last night for her work. the presentation was by a consultancy regading "the business reasons for investing in development". the gentleman giving the presentation used apple as his model to demonstrate his points and specificly the Iphone.

My gf was 4 rows from the front and has no clue that there are new colours coming out.

She said that the guy pulled out his iphone and showed everyone. she said it was very gloss white but was an iphone. The guy said that this phone would know where he was and if he pointed it in a certain direction it would follow his movement on the map (GPS). He could point it at a building and it would tell him what that building was. (maybe a new feature in google map with the GPS function).

Anyway he said that apple have 5 people that constantly work on trying to keep the phone from being broken into from thousands of young people out there (jail break). This is actualy good for apple as this level of time investment into the iphone makes them very dedicated customers.

So thats it I was shocked but thought you lot might find it interesting.

As likely as this is to be BS or simply mistaken identity, it's also plausible. 3G iPhone have to be out there with a select few as proof of concept.

Whatever the case, we'll all know in a few short long days.

Maybe, but I am starting to believe that the 3G iPhone is being tested currently, but may have a different, less conspicuous look. I mean, by now we would have been flooded with pictures of well known Apple employees using them on the street.

I love black and thought at first white was going backwards as far as design for apple. But i kinda like the idea of a white phone too now. I've seen a white phone on the streets and it always catches my eye. I think it's a Sony. I just got a white persian cat that i call Little White One so i may just end up with a white phone if it's an option.

I think these are ugly (and we already know they are fake), but that *other* white iPhone picture I like a lot.

I really, really, really, want a glossy white iPhone with the black front and the chrome trim like we have seen in the leaked pics. I am going to be sooo disappointed if it doesn't actually materialise on Monday.
