My Gf's new iMac G5 (Pics)

I live in the UK, my girlfriend ordered her iMac last Sunday, got it today (Thursday), cool hey?

Anyway, I only have pictures, no benchmarks or anything.

I can say that this thing is quite light considering, it should feel heavier, something the photos online don't show is the clear plastic reminiscent from the older snow iBooks and the eMac. It looks good, the damn thing is very quiet and the gf hasn't really tested it. She only put her details in it, I took the photos.

Anyway enjoy and I hope they help some people here.
 
I didn't know that Apple changed the type of plug used to go into the wall outlet..... :confused:

Why what do you mean, this IS for the UK remember? Its a different AC over here, its designed in such a way that the plug will not come out from the wall.

RE: Desk, this is where we got it out, she has to tidy her work desk and unload the windows machine onto her grandad. Windows 95 btw. :eek:

Nice iMac! Is this the 20"? The screen looks big.

Its the 17" version and yes she did order it from Apple Online.

The windows 95 thing, it was there already at the start of the relationship, not my fault, but you can blame me for convincing her to get the mac though. I'll hold my hand up to that! ;)

The important thing is that she's using a brand new G5 iMac. Nice pictures, thanks for sharing.

or Windows 98 (putting in the order for my parents iMac today, after all the years of bugging them, they are finally letting me replace their after all the good reviews in the papers)
