iPod touch My girlfriend dropped My touch

yesterday my girlfriend dropped my touch from like waist high all that happened was a little dent on the corner (very small) and everything is working fine but afterwards i went to play a video and there was green coloring all over i tried another video a nd same thing. I restarted the ipod and the videos are fine now. Should I be concerned?
 
Apparently that's a side effect of some corruption in the device that will tear digital holes in all the media stored on it. Basically it's destroyed beyond repair and as it's dented Apple won't sort it for you. I'd dump your gf if I were you.

haha. Thanks. I was reading somewhere that someone else had a similar problem and fixed with a restart. I'm just hopeing it has nothing to do with the drop.

Is it useless to get applecare now because even if i bring it in since it has a little dent they will say the problem was because it was dropped?
 
well I was a real ****** to her for about 2 minutes telling her to remind me to never let her hold anything of value again. But she felt really bad and I was over it pretty quickly. I'm not going to dump her...I'll probably just punch her in the face...that will teach her.

On a side note. anyone using a 5G ipod pouch that came with the ipods...be carefull they dont fit in there too snug and this is what caused the drop. it slipped out of the pouch when she was holding it upside down like an idiot.

She is lucky I love her more than my ipod touch.

anyone know how anal they are about applecare and nics and scratches?

I'll post some later. might be hard to show because its small and on the reflectve metal. Good news is I don't have the screen problem as far as I know

What?? Another love other than apple. This man deserved to be banned from these forums. My girlfriend knows that i love apple more than her, and I am converting her. Maybe one day we will have the perfect love triangle...
 
Break up with her. There are plenty of fish in the sea. Find one that can hold an iPod without dropping it.

At least she didn't break it while touching ;)
