Wow Im up over 5GB of free storage on my Gmail account, not bad for a free service plus I have IMAP now! so it syncs! Bravo Google I love it.

Yup, storage has been growing rapidly over recent weeks. Seems to have happened around the same time as IMAP was introduced.

weird I have had IMAP for ages now and the UK is usually behind with these types of rollouts.

Been waiting and waiting and waiting since it was first spotted (and I was one of the first invite-only users too) but no joy. I'm getting tempted to open a new account and forward everything to it.
