My grandfather bought my cousin an iPhone... in Israel.

My grandfather, while in the states, purchased an iPhone for my cousin who lives in israel. I just found out about this five minutes ago. The iPhone was delivered to israel, and activated via my cousin's computer. He's now using it in israel.

Will he be getting rediculous roaming charges?

He probably just bought it off some site selling unlocked iPhones and your cousin just popped his SIM card in.
