Hello everybody,

I have a problem with my hard drive(it is formatted Mac) and my macbook doesn't recognize it anymore. I tried to plug it this morning and nothing appeared, i had two partition one for timemachine and another for various file for a total of 1Tb. When I go on Diskutility i can see just the name of the harddrive, without the partitions, and i can do nothing. Yesterday i tried to plug it on a windows computer without been able to see the files(because was Mac formatted).

Thanks for Help.

Can you repair the external HDD via Disk Utility? Do you have another Mac? What interface do you use to connect the HDD to your Mac? Have you tried an SMC reset?
