When i double click on my HD and click Users the only user listed is "shared".

My Home User is not there .

All my data is accesible but i am concerned that it may get hidden.

When i back up to my external HD it transfers all of my data but again i cant see me as a user .

Any ideas whats happened? Could be coincidental but my logicboard was replaced last week and i think it happened then.

thanks

See what shows up from Terminal,
Code:
ls -a /Users
That's a lowercase L at the start.

Have you made any recent changes to your account such as renaming your home folder?

Thanks for that.

It comesup with DS Store : my name and Apple

Localised Shared

The Apple name is a empty user that the genius used a year ago. It does not have any data and i guess can be deleted.

No recent changes but it was sent to apple for repair.

My home "identity" is showing under places on the left hand side when i double click my hard drive. Along with desktop , applications erc.

Really weird.
