My High Sierra Macbook R2016 sees the hotspot ...

... right away but refuses to connect.

I've tried the Windows-style solution so far ... rebooting both devices, cycling hotspot on and off, cycling MB wifi on and off.

Thoughts?

HS 10.3.1

Macbook hotspot connection worked fine with regular Sierra.


edit: I connected to another wifi, worked fine, just like at home. Then for kicks I tried to hotspot. Now that works fine too.
