Hi All,

I have about 50 Hue bulbs in my home. For awhile now my Hue App and home app have not really synced. I can add a bulb through Hue app and customize name and room. The bulb will then show in the home app as "Hue Color 1" in what I assume it feels is the default room "office". A bit annoying but not the end of the world.

During the night I think my HomePods updated to 26.1 and now about half my bulbs are all under office as "Hue Color" .. What can I do to fix this if anything? It would be annoying to rename them all but more importantly I will have lost them to the individual scenes.

In the Hue App the Bulbs are properly named and with the right rooms. I have tried to resync the Hue app to Home and it does nothing.

Any thoughts on how to at least get the two apps talking? or am I missing something?

Thanks,
Philly

In the end I decided it was some corruption between Hue and Home plus the homepod upgrades (which control the homekit)... After a lot of manual reprogramming everything seems back to normal.
I guess I just got unlucky with some corrupted file somewhere.

Best of Luck to all,
Philly

This used to happen to me when my Home hub switches from an AppleTV to HomePod when auto switching was the only option.

Is that what happened in your case?

interesting... I never checked that. I had it on manual before I upgraded and still on that homepod
