Hi guys,
I had my 27" imac i7 quadcore for a month now and this is the first, major problem, that I have with it. I put my computer to sleep mode yesterday and there was a power trip in my home. Right after that, my mac doesnt want to be on. I tried plugging the power supply off and re-booting but all I can hear was just the HDD humming but the screen was still dark. I tried to leave it for a whole night in that state thinking that it might be on after sometimes, but it still doesnt want to be on till now. There were two previous incidents before this, all under the same circumstances and in both incidents all I did was re-booting the computer from the power button and everything went back to normal.
I thought that if the HDD is running, I could connect my wireless keyboard and mouse but they on both peripherals, the light kept blinking. So if the HDD is not running, I dont know what was the humming sound when I pressed on power button.
Is there any way to fix problem? or is my imac toasted?
Thanks.
