My imac dosen't detect my toshiba regza

Hi,

I dont know if there is anything i can do about it.

I did purchase a thunderbold cable to HDMI and my imac did not detect my tv, i did try almost everything. I did try with a different tv and it is working fine.

Any suggestion. Basically what i want to do is to use my HDTV as a monitor.
