I just wanted to say that my one year old 24" 2.4GHz Al iMac is doing great. One minor problem in that time that was fixed with a SMC reset.

iMac doing fine, running / sleeping /wakeup, over 6 months! (Don't try that at home with a non-unix box...) (Well the DEC microVax worked ok too... )

MacBook doing fine, same story, just Running or sleeping, no shutdown except for critical updates every 6months (not every month or two like my PCs, but they've been getting fewer reboots too)...

As much as we appreciate the positive sentiment, a bazillion posts saying "My machine runs fine!" can be a bit much as well, so let's nip this one in the bud
