My imac is only taking SD pictures

I open Photobooth, and my mac only takes 720x480 pics, as it where a regular cam.
How I can take full HD pictures with my new Facetime HD cam.

Setup: Brand new Top of the line Imac.

Not entirely sure that the camera is HD as in 1920x1080 pixels.... I think it's just iSight HD as in 'better than iSight'.
