my iMac (late 2009) crashed after update safari

hello,
i wonder if somebody have the same problem like my iMac (late 2009)
last week i had a security update for safari , and after i installed the update the day after (1 nov) my iMac crashed and there was not anyway to restart it again, nothing worked anymore!
Even if u push the power on/off buttom he did not startup ....
i plugged the powercable off and left my iMac without power a night and in the morning i tryed again and it startup again???
What happen here, is it hardware or software problem?
hope somebody can help me?

i believed my iMac was infected with ransomeware , cos here you can see almost the same problem!
